Remove old script files from your server. (make sure you've made a backup)
Upload and the new script on your server.
2. Prepare the product files
You need to set the permissions (CHMOD) of the base folder, sub-folder and files to either 755, 775, or 777 which will depend on your actual server.
3. Configure Root Directory
Your domain name or sub-domain should have the root directory set to the /public/ folder of the script, the .htaccess files are in the public folder as well. If you don't set it you can face 403 Forbidden Access error.
Make sure you uploaded the .htaccess file! This file is found inside of the /public folder and it may appear hidden on your pc and if not uploaded, it will produce a 404 Error on any link you click on the website.
4. Start the upgrade process
Access the product on your website and access the /upgrade path. (ex: https://yourdomain.com/upgrade)
Follow the steps in the upgrade process
You can now access the website and login with your admin account
APP URL is your domain name (eg. http://domain.com or http://tiktok.domain.com), it's useful when you want to install the script in sub-domain.
